Andressa Ester's (Ester pronounced like Fred Astaire) journey began in São Jose Dos Campos, SP, Brazil, where she was born to proud parents, Maria and Manuel Riveros. 

 

Their move to Canada in 1994 landed them in Edmonton, AB, where Andressa faced the challenge of learning English from scratch. Undeterred, she not only conquered the language but also conquered the stage and screen, with over 70 productions under her belt.

Her passion for acting ignited during childhood, as she immersed herself in the enchanting world of Disney movies, much to the dismay of her older brother,  At 11, she began her formal journey into the Edmonton Theatre Community, attending drama classes, workshops, and talent showcases across Alberta.

In 2011, Andressa made the leap to Vancouver, BC, to pursue acting full-time. Her journey led her to the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in 2012, where she honed her craft before returning to Canada.

Since then, Andressa has made her mark on both stage and screen, with standout performances in roles such as Stella in "A Streetcar Named Desire," Cassius in "Julius Caesar," and Irina in "Mail Order Beard." She thrives on the diversity of her work, seamlessly transitioning between Toronto and Vancouver for various projects.

Ever the creative spirit, Andressa has recently ventured into writing, directing, and producing her own projects. She Founded Emerald Star Entertainment in 2024 and is currently in pre-production of, "My Father's Daughter" a short film produced in association with PGS Films, which marks her debut as a screenwriter—a thrilling new chapter in her artistic journey.
